How the world’s best entrepreneurs, athletes and achievers stick to (and accomplish) their 20 year vision.
Kobe’s last game was tonight. It ended a career of 20 years and got me thinking about longevity, vision, determination and what it takes to leave a legacy that outlasts yourself.
In this video I want to walk you through a simple framework to think about your own vision and how to stick to doing whatever it takes over a long period of time, such as 10 or 20 years to make that vision a reality.
The best entrepreneurs have a huge, compelling vision, but truth be told, they don’t think about it all that often. Sure they review it every year, but in the days, weeks and months in between, they’re focused on achievement and design their routines and calendars to make huge, compounding progress at regular intervals.
This is the simple framework you can use to do the same thing. If you have a big vision but struggle to make progress consistently, you need a way to bring regular rewards into your routine, so you don’t burn out and so you satisfy your brain’s natural urge to release dopamine (the happy chemical), which is something we’re wired for as human beings.
This is how you do it day in, day out, so you can stick to anything for 10-20 years and get to your ultimate outcome.
